Peer Review Committee

The Peer Review Committee is a member benefit and will act as a third party reviewer, reviewing home inspection reports anonymously, for SOP compliance and effective communication.

If you wish to have your report reviewed, please submit your report to membership@nclhia.com.  Please remove any identifying attributes (your name, address, license #, etc.) then NCLHIA Staff will review and remove any identifying attributes that you may have missed and will forward to the Peer Review Committee.  The PRC will review your report and offer analysis to NCLHIA staff.  NCLHIA staff will then forward the analysis to you.  

Inspectors should include their contracts along with the reports. There are several items on the Licensure Board's checklist that cannot be checked without it. The Board has resumed random audits of Inspector's reports and if they find serious violations of the Standards than they can take action against the Inspector. NCLHIA is helping our members stay a step ahead of the rest.
