The 2017 Education Conference and Convention of the North Carolina Licensed Home Inspector Association (NCLHIA) will be held March 2 – 4, 2017 in Concord, NC at the beautiful and fun-filled Great Wolf Lodge. In addition to the 80,000 square foot indoor water park within the hotel, we will be just down the street from one of North Carolina’s largest shopping malls – Concord Mills; nearby are the Charlotte-Concord Sea Life Aquarium; the world-famous Charlotte Motor Speedway; and Hendrick Motor Sports garage and museum, to name a few. So you can make it more than business and bring the whole family – especially since our conference rates for the hotel are almost half off regular prices.

Education classes will start at 1:00 PM on Friday and run through 5:00 PM on Saturday. Many of our past participating exhibitors consider this a “must attend” event and return year after year. We are extending this invitation to you because your product or service may be of particular interest to North Carolina Home Inspectors. Your registration fee will provide a 6 foot table and two chairs, your logo and web site link on the NCLHIA website, an opportunity to write an article for our quarterly newsletter “Probings”, lunch for two on Saturday, and a list of all attending home inspectors. It will also help sponsor our annual Exhibitors’ Reception on Friday evening starting immediately after Friday’s education event and running about an hour and a half with hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. Our breaks and the Exhibitor Reception will be set up in the exhibitor room allowing inspectors to visit with you during break times while the Friday night reception provides a more relaxed opportunity for our attendees to learn more about your product and services. Last year the association sponsored a Thursday Night Social Event by arranging reservations at and providing round trip transportation to one of the area’s finer restaurants. This event is open to all interested attendees, exhibitors, and guests. Restaurant costs are at each person’s expense. This is always a lot of fun and gives those participating exhibitors a time to connect with the inspectors in a more informal and relaxed social setting. Round trip transportation will be provided.

This year, we are offering sponsorships for the first time in several years. Each sponsorship comes with a one (1) to one and a half hour time slot to present information to any home inspectors who come in on Thursday, March 2nd. Many of our inspectors look forward to this time to catch up on industry news. The topic can be on anything that you think will interest the home inspector. There will be two one and a half hour slots and two one hour slots available beginning at 12:30pm. These will be assigned to interested sponsors first and then to other exhibitors on a first come first serve basis.

Our exhibitor space is limited, so if you are interested in having access to the largest gathering of North Carolina’s best and brightest Home Inspectors, go to our website at www.nclhia.com for more information and a registration form. Please feel free to call Robert Wilson with any questions or comments at 704-622-2607.
